TradeMint is provided by Vynetic Labs. Questions about this notice or information held by TradeMint can be sent to support@vyneticlabs.co.uk.
What TradeMint uses
- Store and merchant information: store domain, store and authenticated-user details supplied by Shopify, installation and session information, access tokens, subscription status, app settings and operational history.
- Wholesale buyer information: customer identifiers, contact and business names, email addresses, buyer group membership and application, approval or suspension status.
- Registration information: answers to the questions selected by the merchant. These can include phone numbers, addresses, business type, VAT or tax number, expected spend, custom answers and uploaded documents.
- Product and pricing information: product and variant identifiers, prices, collection membership, discount rules, published versions and import records.
- Support information: name, email, message, store and help ID, optional page information and any collaborator code or storefront password supplied for support.
Why it is used
TradeMint uses this information to provide wholesale prices, identify eligible buyers, process registration applications, operate the installed app, manage subscriptions, investigate faults and provide support. Merchants decide which registration questions to ask and who receives wholesale access.
Merchants should collect only the information needed for their trade application process and explain that use to applicants. Do not request sensitive personal information, payment card details or account passwords through registration forms.
Where information is processed
Shopify handles store authentication, customer accounts, checkout and app billing. TradeMint exchanges relevant customer, product and discount data with Shopify through the installed app’s permissions. The TradeMint application and its database are hosted on Railway.
Support correspondence is also handled through the Vynetic Labs support mailbox. The in-app contact form saves requests in TradeMint’s database before attempting any configured delivery to support. Its displayed delivery status distinguishes a saved request from a sent notification.
TradeMint does not provide an advertising-tracking feature. Contact us for information about the hosting and support arrangements relevant to your store.
Access and safeguards
Merchant app access uses Shopify authentication. App records are scoped to the merchant’s store. Uploaded application files are stored privately and downloaded through authenticated app routes.
The dedicated optional storefront-password field on the support form is encrypted before database storage and excluded from support notification payloads. This does not apply to passwords typed into the ordinary message field: do not put passwords or API secrets in messages.
Retention and deletion
Buyer records, applications, uploaded files, rules, form definitions and operational history are retained to operate the merchant’s wholesale setup. Support messages are retained to handle support requests. Uninstalling the app and erasing a customer’s information are separate processes.
When Shopify sends a customer-redaction request, TradeMint removes matching buyer and application records and their uploaded files, and scrubs matching customer references in operational history. When Shopify sends an applicable shop-redaction request after uninstall, TradeMint deletes that store’s app records. Requests are verified before processing.
These operations apply to the live app database. Hosting backups follow the hosting provider’s lifecycle. Contact us about a specific retention or deletion request, including information you submitted in a support message.
Your requests
If you are a store customer, contact the merchant first. The merchant controls its customer relationship and registration questions and can verify your identity and request. Merchants can contact support@vyneticlabs.co.uk to request access, correction or deletion of information held by TradeMint.
Shopify data-access requests are recorded for manual handling; an automatic acknowledgement is not the completed response. The in-app data download covers the records described beside that download and is not a complete customer-data request response.
